Sleepers's Ilija Milojković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veseljko Tomčić in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Jevrem Vujičić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute Mateja Vesović suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Ljubivoje Lekić's late challenge caught a Burovac FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ljubivoje Lekić helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sleepers getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ljubivoje Lekić hit a great ball. When Jugoslav Lakušević fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burovac FK's protests and gave Jugoslav Lakušević a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Jugoslav Lakušević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sreten Vučetić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitrije Jablanićević having to interfere. Sreten Vučetić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vasilije Nikčević made a kick off. If Vasilije Nikčević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Burovac FK's goal looked a bit too open when Sreten Vučetić came free, but Dimitrije Jablanićević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burovac FK's Vasilije Nikčević got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vasilije Nikčević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilija Milojković having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Slaviša Postin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burovac FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Slaviša Postin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sleepers's Veljko Mirković pulled a muscle in his leg after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 67 minutes, Konstantin Turković mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burovac FK and the Sleepers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sleepers booed when Burovac FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Turković didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vasilije Nikčević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ljubivoje Lekić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Ljubivoje Lekić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Ljubivoje Lekić made a precise shot to the right of Dimitrije Jablanićević. Burovac FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Dojčilo Dunjić charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dojčilo Dunjić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sleepers's Dojčilo Dunjić got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 2-0 became the score in the 91st minute when Ljubivoje Lekić elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Burovac FK's Vasilije Nikčević sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilija Milojković narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sleepers had won after a very even match.
