A hard shot by Siniša Petronijević from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Velisav Vukov's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 10th minute Ðorđe Cekić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Štavljanin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Irig's goal looked a bit too open when Živojin Pustinjaković came free, but Danilo Štavljanin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Radivoj Boljević rounded Surduk's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Surduk's zone, Ratomir Košutić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Velisav Vukov came out of the goal and Ratomir Košutić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Kaplanović kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 35 minutes of play, Surduk's Ðorđe Cekić made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Štavljanin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th match minute, Irig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dmitar Kalezić to maneuver through the defense. Irig's Danilo Štavljanin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Živojin Pustinjaković in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Surduk getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Milinko Perković hit a great ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Surduk's goalkeeper Velisav Vukov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Živojin Pustinjaković in the 47th minute of play forced Irig's goalkeeper Danilo Štavljanin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radivoj Boljević made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Irig's zone, Živojin Pustinjaković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Štavljanin came out of the goal and Živojin Pustinjaković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Velisav Vukov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radivoj Boljević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Štavljanin was a little too slow when Živojin Pustinjaković got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ratomir Košutić in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Velisav Vukov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Živojin Pustinjaković came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Surduk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Živojin Pustinjaković couldn't finish the play. If Ratomir Košutić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ratomir Košutić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velisav Vukov having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Surduk's Danilo Jovandić got a free kick in the 76th minute. Radivoj Boljević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Velisav Vukov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radoš Nestorov charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radoš Nestorov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Radivoj Boljević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velisav Vukov having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Radivoj Boljević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radivoj Boljević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ratomir Košutić in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Velisav Vukov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Ratomir Košutić made a precise shot to the right of Velisav Vukov. Surduk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Radivoj Boljević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ratomir Košutić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radivoj Boljević in the 95th minute of play forced Surduk's goalkeeper Velisav Vukov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
