The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Momčilo Simonović was the one to do the kick off. Veliko Gradište's attack was well implemented in the 88th minute, but when Momčilo Simonović was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Veliko Gradište's Momčilo Simonović got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pirot's Novak Vidljinović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Pirot from getting a goal against them. The Veliko Gradište supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Veliko Gradište would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
