Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vukan Kragović made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute of the match Vladislav Šarčević sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ratko Stoiljković skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Vršac FK defense, Zvonko Bjedov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstantin Livaja. The Vršac FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstantin Livaja should have stopped the shot. Žabalj's Ratko Stoiljković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radovan Mihajlović in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zvonko Bjedov in the 14th minute of play forced Vršac FK's goalkeeper Konstantin Livaja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vukan Kragović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Zvonko Bjedov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Konstantin Livaja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 24 played minutes Žabalj got a freekick which was hit by Fedor Vujatović. If Radovan Mihajlović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radovan Mihajlović in the 29th minute of play forced Žabalj's goalkeeper Ratko Stoiljković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milan Račić during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Milan Račić hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Radovan Mihajlović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Jovan Draganić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Vršac FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Žabalj were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radovan Mihajlović to strike the kick off in the second half. Voja Dević charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Voja Dević the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Voja Dević kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ratko Stoiljković showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Budimir Lomić, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vršac FK's zone, Vukan Kragović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantin Livaja came out of the goal and Vukan Kragović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zvonko Bjedov hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The supporters of Vršac FK booed when Žabalj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milan Račić didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Budimir Lomić in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ratko Stoiljković saved Žabalj from getting behind. After some careless play in the Žabalj defense, Radovan Mihajlović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ratko Stoiljković. The Žabalj fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ratko Stoiljković should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute, Fedor Vujatović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Žabalj's Voja Dević dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Pavle Soldatović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Konstantin Livaja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zvonko Bjedov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Žabalj played a much better game than Vršac FK and deserved their victory. The Vršac FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
