Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marjan Vićentijević started the match with the kick off. Svetozar Mijović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihajlo Mirkov in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Janča Dragojević was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Ikona Beograd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dimitrovgrad the free kick. After a rather tough play, FK Ikona Beograd's Janča Dragojević got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jevrem Gmitrović in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Svetozar Mijović saved FK Ikona Beograd from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Vlade Mališić successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 14thth minute of the game Jevrem Gmitrović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Ikona Beograd's Svetozar Mijović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Svetislav Mudreša during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Dimitrovgrad got a freekick which was hit by Svetislav Mudreša. In the 22nd play minute Gojko Jovović came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vlade Mališić. 1-1. After a rather tough play, FK Ikona Beograd's Nemanja Miročević got a free kick in the 26th minute. Mihajlo Mirkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Svetozar Mijović. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihajlo Mirkov ran back to his position shaking his head. Svetozar Mijović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marjan Vićentijević's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Janča Dragojević hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Jevrem Gmitrović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svetozar Mijović having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Marjan Vićentijević had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Svetozar Mijović. FK Ikona Beograd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marjan Vićentijević was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 43 minutes into the game, Gojko Jovović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Vlade Mališić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jevrem Gmitrović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikola Rnić in the 48th minute of play forced Dimitrovgrad's goalkeeper Vlade Mališić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikola Rnić in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vlade Mališić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jevrem Gmitrović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vlade Mališić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gojko Jovović in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of FK Ikona Beograd booed when Dimitrovgrad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikola Džunov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vlade Mališić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gojko Jovović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vlade Mališić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gojko Jovović in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gojko Jovović in the 64th minute of play forced Dimitrovgrad's goalkeeper Vlade Mališić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svetozar Mijović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jevrem Gmitrović in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Marjan Vićentijević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svetozar Mijović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Marjan Vićentijević cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Svetozar Mijović was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jevrem Gmitrović got free with Svetozar Mijović in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikola Rnić in the 83rd minute of play forced Dimitrovgrad's goalkeeper Vlade Mališić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Jevrem Gmitrović notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of FK Ikona Beograd's Svetozar Mijović. Svetozar Mijović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gojko Jovović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vlade Mališić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Novica Dragnić hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, FK Ikona Beograd's goal looked a bit too open when Mihajlo Mirkov came free, but Svetozar Mijović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jevrem Gmitrović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
