The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstantin Vukotić helped the player get up and apologised. Konstantin Vukotić hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Sima Lisulović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Marko Iliev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tekstilac fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Topola a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Konstantin Vukotić, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tekstilac's Marko Iliev. 2-0. Dragoje Gunj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Žarko Šaranov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tekstilac's Marko Iliev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sima Lisulović in the 23rd minute of play. With his leg Marko Iliev managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Topola's Mihailo Župljanin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Topola:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tekstilac:s goal. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Tekstilac. Zlatko Čajetinac stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dragoje Gunj. 2-1. When Mihailo Župljanin came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Topola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihailo Župljanin couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Topola booed when Tekstilac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milan Vidić didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 played minutes Topola got a freekick which was hit by Mihailo Župljanin. Tekstilac's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Sima Lisulović scored to the left of an out of position Marko Iliev, making the score, 3-1. In the last second Marko Iliev throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sima Lisulović in the 43rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Žarko Šaranov in the 44th minute of play forced Topola's goalkeeper Dragoje Gunj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krsman Mijić hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Zlatko Čajetinac came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Tekstilac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zlatko Čajetinac couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sima Lisulović to make the kick off. Tekstilac's Marko Iliev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihailo Župljanin in the 56th minute of play. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Topola. The goalkeeper, Dragoje Gunj, was totally fooled by Tekstilac's Zlatko Čajetinac, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Topola's zone, Savo Milentijević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragoje Gunj came out of the goal and Savo Milentijević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Topola booed when Tekstilac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miloje Krnić didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, Topola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoran Radenković to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Žarko Šaranov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tekstilac's supporters rose to their feet, but Žarko Šaranov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dragoje Gunj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Stefan Bunić dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dragoje Gunj, 3-4. Živadin Jočić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Marko Iliev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tekstilac were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Topola's much stronger midfield.
