The crowd rose to their feet as Vlaška's Vukašin Poleksić slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivica Nenezić. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. 8 minutes into the game, Vlaška's Vukašin Poleksić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivica Nenezić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 12 minutes, Radislav Radovančević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vlaška's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radislav Radovančević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Vlaška booed when Severni Banat OFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vukajlo Andrić didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Dragan Kujundžić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vlaška's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dragan Kujundžić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Šćepan Brajković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Vukajlo Andrić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Vukašin Poleksić notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Severni Banat OFK's Ivica Nenezić. Ivica Nenezić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute, Šćepan Brajković left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Severni Banat OFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Radislav Radovančević made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Stefan Bilić kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jordan Tarabić. That made the score 3-2 in the 51 minute of play. In the 59th minute Radislav Radovančević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivica Nenezić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Bilić in the 64th minute of play forced Vlaška's goalkeeper Jordan Tarabić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Šćepan Brajković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Tarabić having to interfere. Šćepan Brajković could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Jordan Tarabić made a huge save. If Radislav Radovančević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Šćepan Brajković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jordan Tarabić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Radislav Radovančević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Vlaška were the better team. Vlaška's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
