After 14 played minutes Velika Plana got a freekick which was hit by Tihomir Ajduković. After a defensive mix-up in Velika Plana's zone, Todor Kunovac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naum Ponorac came out of the goal and Todor Kunovac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Златни Освајачи ФК fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Златни Освајачи ФК's Todor Kunovac looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 20 minutes into the match, Todor Kunovac had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Naum Ponorac. Velika Plana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Todor Kunovac was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 25 minutes of play, Златни Освајачи ФК's Todor Kunovac made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naum Ponorac was left in no man's land by his defense there! Todor Kunovac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Naum Ponorac stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dmitar Redžić's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 38th match minute, Velika Plana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlastimir Stojković to maneuver through the defense. Aćim Kurtušić took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Naum Ponorac. Velika Plana's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Naum Ponorac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todor Kunovac, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Todor Kunovac put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Naum Ponorac. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Dmitar Redžić did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Naum Ponorac 55 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Vlastimir Stojković put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 60 minutes, Златни Освајачи ФК's Aćim Kurtušić got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Naum Ponorac. Naum Ponorac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todor Kunovac in the 64th minute of the match. When Danilo Ilikić came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Златни Освајачи ФК fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Ilikić couldn't finish the play. Danilo Ilikić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Naum Ponorac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jadranko Stanisavljević's late challenge caught a Velika Plana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todor Kunovac in the 82nd minute of play forced Velika Plana's goalkeeper Naum Ponorac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Златни Освајачи ФК eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
