Hasan Latinović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Nedjeljko Ajković made a huge save. Slaven Bibezić got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 42nd minute, Slaven Bibezić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Đuro Santrač stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ćazim Petrović's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hasan Latinović was the one to do the kick off. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barrow upon Humber would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
