The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Milinko Brajović was extremely unlucky when he, in the 3rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ćazim Petrović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nedjeljko Ajković made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milinko Brajović in the 7th minute. After 9 played minutes Barrow upon Humber got a freekick which was hit by Amir Lopičić. Cvijan Nađ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Budislav Jelić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nedjeljko Ajković showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Toškić, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Cvijan Nađ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Toškić in the 23rd minute of play forced Barrow upon Humber's goalkeeper Nedjeljko Ajković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Isak Toškić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes Little Comberton City got a freekick which was hit by Milo Medojević. Ćazim Petrović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isak Toškić was the one to do the kick off. Little Comberton City's Budislav Jelić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Little Comberton City from getting a goal against them. Cvijan Nađ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Toškić in the 57th minute of play forced Barrow upon Humber's goalkeeper Nedjeljko Ajković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cvijan Nađ came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Barrow upon Humber fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cvijan Nađ couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Ćazim Petrović got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Budislav Jelić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cvijan Nađ in the 69th minute of play. Ćazim Petrović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Budislav Jelić made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Barrow upon Humber's goal looked a bit too open when Milinko Brajović came free, but Nedjeljko Ajković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Isak Toškić came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Little Comberton City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isak Toškić couldn't finish the play. Nedjeljko Ajković stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isak Toškić's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Isak Toškić might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nedjeljko Ajković. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isak Toškić ran back to his position shaking his head. Ćazim Petrović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Barrow upon Humber's zone, Milo Medojević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nedjeljko Ajković came out of the goal and Milo Medojević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
