Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Longridge AFC's Dean Bowen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edin Šćepanović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Derek Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Zlatko Branković mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chichester and the Longridge AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chichester's goalkeeper Stjepan Višekruna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Derek Delaney was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edin Šćepanović showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Stjepan Višekruna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dean Bowen in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Zlatko Branković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raško Kalać received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Raško Kalać managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chichester's supporters rose to their feet, but Raško Kalać was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Derek Delaney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edin Šćepanović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Draško Vulović struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Derek Delaney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chichester. A collision led to Longridge AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Brian Machin hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
52 minutes into the match, Chichester's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Bowen came free, but Stjepan Višekruna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Draško Vulović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derek Delaney having to interfere. Chichester's Stjepan Višekruna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Chichester from getting a goal against them. Derek Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uroš Skorupan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chichester fully deserved thier win.
