RED HAWK's Slavko Lukšić got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobias Abecia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Novko Miljković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Njegoš Šćepanović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Abecia having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in RED HAWK's zone, Boro Karović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Abecia came out of the goal and Boro Karović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes in the game, Novko Miljković dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in RED HAWK's zone, Njegoš Šćepanović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Abecia came out of the goal and Njegoš Šćepanović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Abecia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Njegoš Šćepanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Njegoš Šćepanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Abecia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to RED HAWK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ranko Rakonjac hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes, fk celik niksic's Ćazim Vulićević shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tobias Abecia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in fk celik niksic reached it. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Njegoš Šćepanović sped through RED HAWK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tobias Abecia. Njegoš Šćepanović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Svetozar Šarović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavić Musović having to interfere. After a rather tough play, RED HAWK's Ranko Rakonjac got a free kick in the 35th minute. Njegoš Šćepanović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tobias Abecia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Abecia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Novko Miljković in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, fk celik niksic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slaven Pijetlović to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, RED HAWK's Eraldo Bottega broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tobias Abecia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Njegoš Šćepanović in the 57th minute. Njegoš Šćepanović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Abecia having to interfere. Tobias Abecia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Novko Miljković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Novko Miljković in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Abecia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, fk celik niksic's goal looked a bit too open when Svetozar Šarović came free, but Pavić Musović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to RED HAWK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Eraldo Bottega hit a great ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Novko Miljković managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fk celik niksic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Novko Miljković was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Novko Miljković's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Abecia was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 74 minutes into the game, Petar Gogić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RED HAWK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fk celik niksic the free kick. Petar Gogić hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Njegoš Šćepanović was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Petar Gogić kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. RED HAWK's Tobias Abecia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save RED HAWK from getting a goal against them. If Svetozar Šarović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Slavko Lukšić in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the game's 84th minute RED HAWK's Eraldo Bottega took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Pavić Musović and thus the score was 1-1. If Slavko Lukšić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavić Musović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slavko Lukšić in the 89th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
