In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bristol Centre AFC's goalkeeper Peđa Miljković, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Milivoj Muratović kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Danilo Mitrović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peđa Miljković having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Bajica Kažović rounded Newport FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. 30 minutes into the game, Boris Okuka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Peđa Miljković was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Bristol Centre AFC's zone, Boris Okuka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peđa Miljković came out of the goal and Boris Okuka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Newport FC's Boris Okuka in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bristol Centre AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Newport FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Newport FC's zone, Milivoj Muratović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milenko Perkolić came out of the goal and Milivoj Muratović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mitar Tumbasović fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bristol Centre AFC's protests and gave Mitar Tumbasović a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bristol Centre AFC's Mitar Tumbasović got a free kick in the 60th minute. Boris Okuka in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Peđa Miljković, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Peđa Miljković stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boris Okuka's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. If Milivoj Muratović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute of the match Zarija Bajković sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Milenko Perkolić skillfully saved the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Stojadin Dimitrijević was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bristol Centre AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newport FC the free kick. In the 69th minute, Stojadin Dimitrijević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute of the match, Boris Okuka tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Peđa Miljković saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Boris Okuka succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. Stojadin Dimitrijević kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Boris Okuka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Mitrovićs short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Peđa Miljković to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Bristol Centre AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Newport FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
