Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pantelija Lakušić took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ðurađ Buzdovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Orchard having to interfere. Gruna Joksović took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eddy Orchard. Sawtry FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sawtry FC's Grant Bates got a free kick in the 6th minute. Eddy Orchard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pantelija Lakušić, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Pantelija Lakušić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dolton City's supporters rose to their feet, but Pantelija Lakušić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddy Orchard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Sawtry FC's Bobby Crocker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanasije Musović narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Dolton City got a freekick which was hit by Brajan Ivanić. After recieving a nice pass, Sawtry FC's Leon Browning tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Russell Sewell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 30 played minutes Bobby Crocker rounded Dolton City's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Pantelija Lakušić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eddy Orchard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddy Orchard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ðurađ Buzdovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Sawtry FC's zone, Pantelija Lakušić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddy Orchard came out of the goal and Pantelija Lakušić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ðurađ Buzdovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bobby Crocker made a kick off. Russell Sewell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tanasije Musović having to make a save. Eddy Orchard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pantelija Lakušić, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pantelija Lakušić in the 65th minute of play forced Sawtry FC's goalkeeper Eddy Orchard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ðurađ Buzdovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Russell Sewell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanasije Musović having to interfere. Ivo Stojović charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivo Stojović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Dolton City got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Stojović. After 88 minutes, Bobby Crocker made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Dolton City's Tanasije Musović tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dolton City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sawtry FC.
