Coppull United's Tommy Nailor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Coppull United from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Avram Šimanić could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Tommy Nailor however easily saved by the left post. Mirčeta Borilović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tommy Nailor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mirčeta Borilović was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Worthing's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Coppull United booed when Worthing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Božo Vukčević didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avram Šimanić got free with Tommy Nailor in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 41 minutes, Mirčeta Borilović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tommy Nailor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Martin Mrđanin hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Damon Rotherfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borivoj Stamatović having to interfere. Avram Šimanić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tommy Nailor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mirčeta Borilović's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Nailor was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Tommy Nailor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirčeta Borilović in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Coppull United getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alf Bateson hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Božo Vukčević got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Nailor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zaviša Vicković hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Worthing's Borivoj Stamatović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickey Leather in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th minute Mirčeta Borilović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Nailor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Worthing fully deserved thier win.
