The supporters of Skelmersdale United booed when Buckingham United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isailo Bogavac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vuk Krivošija made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zulfikar Matković in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Skelmersdale United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogić Mrđa to maneuver through the defense. Radoman Koprivica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Boban Danilović put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zajo Rašović. Milinko Krajina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zajo Rašović having to interfere. Bratislav Šarčević's late challenge caught a Buckingham United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bratislav Šarčević helped the player get up and apologised. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zulfikar Matković made a kick off. Zajo Rašović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boban Danilović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 played minutes Skelmersdale United got a freekick which was hit by Pavić Sajić. After 60 minutes Skelmersdale United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mirko Marstijepović who took care of the corner kick. Srđa Bulatović tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Zajo Rašović. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-0 in the 60th minute. When Buckingham United's Radoman Koprivica in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skelmersdale United's goalie prevented a goal. Zajo Rašović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boban Danilović in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Skelmersdale United getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Bogić Mrđa hit a great ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Boban Danilović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skelmersdale United's Zajo Rašović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Radoman Koprivica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zajo Rašović didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radoman Koprivica went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 78thth minute of the game Boban Danilović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skelmersdale United's Zajo Rašović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Boban Danilović came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Buckingham United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boban Danilović couldn't finish the play. When Milinko Krajina fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buckingham United's protests and gave Milinko Krajina a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Skelmersdale United defense, Boban Danilović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zajo Rašović. The Skelmersdale United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zajo Rašović should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boban Danilović in the 92nd minute of play forced Skelmersdale United's goalkeeper Zajo Rašović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radoman Koprivica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Skelmersdale United's Zajo Rašović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Obrad Kecojević in the 96th minute of play. Buckingham United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
