The penalty shot was made by Časlav Bogavac, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of jadran HERCEG NOVI-1901's Trajko Radoičić. 0-1. jadran HERCEG NOVI-1901's Trajko Radoičić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Komatina in the 8th minute of play. Siniša Šaulić hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Bogić Blagojević kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rudi Bokovac kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Draško Stanojević. That made the score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. Rudi Bokovac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rudi Bokovac kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. jadran HERCEG NOVI-1901's Bogić Blagojević pulled a muscle in his leg after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 24 minutes, Fado Balaban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tynemouth City and the jadran HERCEG NOVI-1901 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Tynemouth City got a freekick which was hit by Fado Balaban. 28 minutes into the match, jadran HERCEG NOVI-1901's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Komatina came free, but Trajko Radoičić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Martin Komatina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tynemouth City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a rather tough play, jadran HERCEG NOVI-1901's Mile Manojlović got a free kick in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, jadran HERCEG NOVI-1901's goal looked a bit too open when Časlav Bogavac came free, but Trajko Radoičić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bogomir Boričić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Tynemouth City's Čedo Kurtović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trajko Radoičić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Čedo Kurtović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tynemouth City's supporters rose to their feet, but Čedo Kurtović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trajko Radoičić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute Bogomir Boričić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Draško Stanojević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Komatina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siniša Šaulić hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Trajko Radoičić acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Časlav Bogavac. Martin Komatina scored 2-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trajko Radoičić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Časlav Bogavac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Borisav Prokić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Komatina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trajko Radoičić having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Čedo Kurtović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Trajko Radoičić. Čedo Kurtović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. When the match was over Tynemouth City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than jadran HERCEG NOVI-1901 throughout the match.
