Milentije Lasić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radenko Dedivanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Deni Milutinović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Šaćir Čubrilović in the 11th minute. If Stavro Stojadinović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goran Nikodinović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deni Milutinović having to interfere. Wibtoft AFC's Deni Milutinović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goran Nikodinović in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goran Nikodinović in the 37th minute of play forced Wibtoft AFC's goalkeeper Deni Milutinović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Stavro Stojadinović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milentije Lasić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miloje Sedlarević's late challenge caught a Kenning FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miloje Sedlarević helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wibtoft AFC's Miloje Sedlarević got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Wibtoft AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Goran Nikodinović came free, but Deni Milutinović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kenning FC fully deserved thier win.
