Norwich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milomir Svetozarević was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Srđa Štavljanin was a little too slow when Sinan Camaj got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Srđa Štavljanin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 25th minute Ljubiša Dubljević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Kalać saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Kalać showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ljubiša Dubljević in the 26th minute of the match. Roman Kalać made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ljubiša Dubljević in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Norwich's Zrinko Cvjetinović got a free kick in the 34th minute. Srđa Štavljanin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vojin Komljenović in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Worksop FC booed when Norwich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragomir Stanisavljević didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sinan Camaj's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Srđa Štavljanin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sinan Camaj in the 44th minute of play forced Norwich's goalkeeper Srđa Štavljanin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Kalać took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ljubiša Dubljević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ljubiša Dubljević was the one to do the kick off. After 82 minutes, Obrad Milanović mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Worksop FC and the Norwich players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Norwich booed when Worksop FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Obrad Milanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Zrinko Cvjetinović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th match minute, Worksop FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Puriša Miranović to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th match minute, Worksop FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milivoje Duraković to maneuver through the defense. Roman Kalać made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Brajan Mijović sent off a good shot on target. When the referee ended the match the Worksop FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
