The referee ignored Petts Wood's protests and gave Želimir Kiković a yellow card for diving instead. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Živko Simović made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Niša Vojinović's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mirko Mijin was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bollington FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
