Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rhun Atkins kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Sel Kenna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rhun Atkins in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rhyd Kilkelly prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute, Gleis Earley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sel Kennas short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Cadyryeith Grubb to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. UWA Maesteg's Sel Kenna got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sel Kenna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cadyryeith Grubb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Sel Kenna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cadyryeith Grubb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, UWA Abergele's Idris Illingworth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rhyd Kilkelly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, UWA Abergele's goalkeeper Cadyryeith Grubb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sel Kenna. Rhyd Kilkelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kynwyl Longshoreman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Idris Illingworth came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the UWA Abergele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Idris Illingworth couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gleis Earley to make the kick off. Cadyryeith Grubb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sel Kenna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gleis Earley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to UWA Maesteg getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Waljan Head hit a great ball. Rhun Atkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhyd Kilkelly having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Rhun Atkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Abergele's supporters rose to their feet, but Rhun Atkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhyd Kilkelly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute Rhun Atkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhyd Kilkelly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, UWA Maesteg's Garym Chandler made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cadyryeith Grubb was left in no man's land by his defense there! Idris Illingworth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Rhyd Kilkelly made a huge save. After having played for 88 minutes, Rhun Atkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Abergele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rhun Atkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rhyd Kilkelly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rhun Atkins in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of UWA Abergele booed when UWA Maesteg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gleis Earley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rhun Atkins received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rhyd Kilkelly came out and tried to block the shot, but Rhun Atkins slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 96th minute.
