Cadyryeith Grubb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cairn Blyth in the 4th minute of play. If Gwyr Lax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwyr Lax made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 12thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Cadyryeith Grubb would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cairn Blyth in the 21st minute of play forced UWA Abergele's goalkeeper Cadyryeith Grubb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Prestatyn's goal looked a bit too open when Rhun Atkins came free, but Kilydd Camden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cai Bauer charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cai Bauer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Prestatyn's Cai Bauer got a free kick in the 41st minute. Kilydd Camden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhun Atkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cairn Blyth made a kick off. Idris Illingworth struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Kilydd Camden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Abergele. Rhun Atkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rhun Atkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kilydd Camden having to interfere. The supporters of UWA Abergele booed when Prestatyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cai Bauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute Cairn Blyth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cadyryeith Grubb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kilydd Camden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rhun Atkins's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Rhun Atkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rhun Atkins in the 83rd minute of play forced Prestatyn's goalkeeper Kilydd Camden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cadyryeith Grubb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cairn Blyth in the 86th minute of the match. Gwyr Lax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cadyryeith Grubb having to interfere. In the 97th minute Rhun Atkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kilydd Camden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prestatyn's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
