Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bridgend's Penvro Doney started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lug Appleby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bridgend booed when Cardigan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llwybyr Farrar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Cardigan's Ardwyad Henn got control of the ball when Lug Appleby tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gwern Campbell hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Romney Kerrigan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cardigan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romney Kerrigan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 minutes, Ol Lavelle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cardigan and the Bridgend players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ol Lavelle hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Bridgend's Penvro Doney in 32 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ardwyad Henn guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Penvro Doney hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Griffin Keane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Newlin Harland sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bridgend's Dilwyn Darke didn't even have to move. If Penvro Doney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lug Appleby succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 39th playminute. Romney Kerrigan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dilwyn Darke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Cardigan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llwybyr Farrar to maneuver through the defense. Penvro Doney received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ardwyad Henn came out and tried to block the shot, but Penvro Doney slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ol Lavelle to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Ol Lavelle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dilwyn Darke. Ol Lavelle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Penvro Doney in the 62nd minute of play forced Cardigan's goalkeeper Ardwyad Henn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ardwyad Henn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Penvro Doney in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Penvro Doney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ardwyad Henn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes, Romney Kerrigan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cardigan and the Bridgend players grew even worse after the yellow card. Romney Kerrigan kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ardwyad Henn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Penvro Doney in the 74th minute of the match. Ol Lavelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Newlin Harland hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Bridgend's Penvro Doney got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 89 played minutes Cardigan got a freekick which was hit by Wmffre Goff. Penvro Doney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes in the game, Ol Lavelle fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dilwyn Darke having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
