Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gwilym Erwin took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Llandysul got a freekick which was hit by Ysgawyn Biddwell. Calcas Jack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwilym Erwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ysgawyn Biddwell during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Llandysul getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ysgawyn Biddwell hit a great ball. After 20 minutes, Gwyn King mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newtown and the Llandysul players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Newtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwyn King to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Marrock Jordan made a precise shot to the right of Calcas Jack. Newtown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Calcas Jack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwilym Erwin in the 30th minute of the match. Gwilym Erwin struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Calcas Jack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llandysul. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Madoc Kenna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Llandysul's zone, Madoc Kenna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ardwyad Coffren came out of the goal and Madoc Kenna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ysgawyn Biddwell kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Pelles Herrington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelles Herrington in the 61st minute of play forced Llandysul's goalkeeper Ardwyad Coffren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Llandysul's Gerallt Denton got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ardwyad Coffren came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Newtown's Pelles Herrington. But to his dismay, Pelles Herrington quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Gwyn King was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. Gwyn King hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Pelles Herrington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute, Iago Fischer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pelles Herrington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Llandysul booed when Newtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iago Fischer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Llandysul defense, Pelles Herrington kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ardwyad Coffren. The Llandysul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ardwyad Coffren should have stopped the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Newtown's Pelles Herrington sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ardwyad Coffren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Newtown fans cheered their team off the field, for while Llandysul had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
