After a rather tough play, Llandysul's Dirmyg Deanly got a free kick in the 4th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenn Ashley during the 9th minute. Pedr Foster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedr Foster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwilym Erwin in the 19th minute of the match. Ardwyad Coffren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceri Creagh in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Llandysul's goalkeeper Ardwyad Coffren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceri Creagh. If Ceri Creagh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pennar Flannery charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pennar Flannery the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Llandysul got a freekick which was hit by Pennar Flannery. In the 31st minute, Bedyw Burt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Siarl Adams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenn Ashley was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ceri Creagh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ardwyad Coffren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Ardwyad Coffren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bedyw Burt, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Pennar Flannery got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Llandysul's Pennar Flannery got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 46th minute, Meical Gray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Meical Gray made the kick off in the second half. Tristan Holcomb took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ardwyad Coffren. Ardwyad Coffren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ceri Creagh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ardwyad Coffren having to interfere. Ardwyad Coffren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irvin Hawley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Llandysul getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Meical Gray hit a great ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Meical Gray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llandysul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meical Gray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Llandysul's zone, Ceri Creagh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ardwyad Coffren came out of the goal and Ceri Creagh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Bedyw Burt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Meical Gray hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Siarl Adams took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ardwyad Coffren. Llandysul's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Llandysul's Marrock Jordan got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Ceri Creagh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Llandysul's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Llandysul may have spent more time on the ball, but UWA Carmarthen were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
