Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Culhwch Harris kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Culhwch Harris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Coonan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merlin Coonan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Awstin Egan went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Kynlas Journeyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Awstin Egan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Merlin Coonan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trent Hooley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Trent Hooley fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skewen FC's protests and gave Trent Hooley a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Skewen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trent Hooley to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 26 minutes, Awstin Egan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmarthen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Awstin Egan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romney Garry kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Carmarthen's Penn Gover broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cadwgawn Gilfin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Hooley in the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Carmarthen's Culhwch Harris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Merlin Coonan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Trent Hooley was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Skewen FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After the first half Carmarthen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Trent Hooley to strike the kick off in the second half. Cadwgawn Gilfin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kynlas Journeyman in the 56th minute of the match. When Awstin Egan came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Carmarthen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Awstin Egan couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Merlin Coonan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kynlas Journeyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cadwgawn Gilfin having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Trent Hooley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skewen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trent Hooley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Kynlas Journeyman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cadwgawn Gilfin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Culhwch Harris in the 78th minute of play forced Skewen FC's goalkeeper Merlin Coonan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carmarthen's goalkeeper Cadwgawn Gilfin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Trent Hooley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Culhwch Harris in the 97th minute of play forced Skewen FC's goalkeeper Merlin Coonan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
