If Morthwyl Alden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trefor Ledger to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Llandudno Utd's Trefor Ledger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eryi Browne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gethin Lavelle hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ieuan Eccleston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Iestyn Hitchins kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Pyrs Farthing managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Ely's supporters rose to their feet, but Pyrs Farthing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Lay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gethin Lavelle kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Gilbert Lay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morthwyl Alden, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. UWA Ely's Eryi Browne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trefor Ledger in the 85th minute of play. When Ieuan Eccleston came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the UWA Ely fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ieuan Eccleston couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
