Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amynedd Leonard got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute, Pasgen Fane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Price Billing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lleu Kilpatrick having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chepstow 's Amynedd Leonard got a free kick in the 17th minute. Chepstow 's Parry Kearney got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Amynedd Leonard came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Chepstow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amynedd Leonard couldn't finish the play. Anir Brothers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradwr Ivers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Chepstow 's Trevelyan Vulcan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Anir Brothers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradwr Ivers in the 38th minute of play forced Chepstow 's goalkeeper Anir Brothers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Maesteg got a freekick which was hit by Tringad Coneely. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amynedd Leonard in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lleu Kilpatrick saved Maesteg from getting behind. Maesteg's Bradwr Ivers got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bradwr Ivers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anir Brothers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradwr Ivers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bradwr Ivers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anir Brothers having to interfere. Chepstow 's Anir Brothers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garnock Elias in the 63rd minute of play. Lleu Kilpatrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amynedd Leonard in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Bradwr Ivers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anir Brothers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bradwr Ivers in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anir Brothers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Amynedd Leonard sped through Maesteg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lleu Kilpatrick. If Amynedd Leonard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Amynedd Leonard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chepstow 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amynedd Leonard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lleu Kilpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amynedd Leonard in the 88th minute of play. Bradwr Ivers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes, Trevelyan Vulcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chepstow and the Maesteg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Chepstow got a freekick which was hit by Trevelyan Vulcan. Garnock Elias charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garnock Elias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Garnock Elias hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Pasgen Fane was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Chepstow players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
