Llandudno's Nissyen Boniface proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Llandudno from getting a goal against them. Rhychdir Davis struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Lleu Kilpatrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llandudno. After 11 minutes, Garnock Elias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maesteg and the Llandudno players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maesteg's Garnock Elias got a free kick in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Howell Costello in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lleu Kilpatrick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peredur Gilfoyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nissyen Boniface having to interfere. Rhychdir Davis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Maesteg's Bradwr Ivers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nissyen Boniface. Nissyen Boniface yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Steffan Hewat charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steffan Hewat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Maesteg booed when Llandudno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffan Hewat didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bradwr Ivers to strike the kick off in the second half. Lleu Kilpatrick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Howell Costello's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Maesteg's Bradwr Ivers got a free kick in the 65th minute. Lleu Kilpatrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Howell Costello in the 68th minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, Llandudno's Howell Costello made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lleu Kilpatrick was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bradwr Ivers in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nissyen Boniface prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Edmyg Collingsworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geraint Erwin, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 83rd minute, Sayer Henson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maesteg's Geraint Erwin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Llandudno. Nissyen Boniface made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peredur Gilfoyle in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Maesteg's Bradwr Ivers got a free kick in the 94th minute. Maesteg were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Llandudno for a fine match.
