Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Parry Cole kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Maesteg's Rhuvawn Lederer got control of the ball when Gandwy Brook tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tristram Bellew hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Mil Gwinn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Mil Gwinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinadan Eckles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Maesteg's goal looked a bit too open when Iolo Bailey came free, but Dinadan Eckles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Griffith Cox was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maesteg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maesteg the free kick. After 16 played minutes Maesteg got a freekick which was hit by Griffith Cox. Mil Gwinn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Maesteg's Iolo Bailey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dinadan Eckles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mil Gwinn in the 24th minute of play forced Maesteg's goalkeeper Dinadan Eckles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Maesteg got a freekick which was hit by Pedr Inger. Mil Gwinn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dinadan Eckles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Maesteg's goal looked a bit too open when Iolo Bailey came free, but Dinadan Eckles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 40th minute of the match Griffith Cox completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Griffith Cox a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 40th minute, Griffith Cox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Maesteg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Maesteg were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Mil Gwinn made the kick off in the second half. Dinadan Eckles made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Mil Gwinn sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Mil Gwinn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 65 in the game by Mil Gwinn from a close distance when the talented Dinadan Eckles managed to make a qualified save. Maesteg's players were relieved. After 72 played minutes Maesteg got a freekick which was hit by Llyn Joel. When Parry Cole came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Maesteg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Parry Cole couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Parry Cole sped through Maesteg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rhuvawn Lederer. Rhuvawn Lederer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Parry Cole, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gandwy Brook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Rhuvawn Lederer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Parry Cole fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhuvawn Lederer having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Maesteg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anwar Gibbons to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, Maesteg's goal looked a bit too open when Gandwy Brook came free, but Rhuvawn Lederer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Maesteg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
