Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Garselid Kavanagh started the match with the kick off. Maddox Head came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by UWA Maesteg's Garselid Kavanagh. But to his dismay, Garselid Kavanagh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, one of Cardiff FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cubert Wright walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 12th match minute, Cardiff FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Govan Loughnane to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Garselid Kavanagh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maddox Head saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Garselid Kavanagh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Seith Attwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-1 became the score in the 36th minute when Cadwaladr Canada elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gwern Conant was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Seith Attwood capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Seith Attwood really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Deiniol Loane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes UWA Maesteg got a freekick which was hit by Teilo Coneely. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Seith Attwood to make the kick off. Kynlas Keller kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Cardiff FC's goal looked a bit too open when Garselid Kavanagh came free, but Maddox Head reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwern Conant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seith Attwood in the 60th minute of the match. Deiniol Loane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maddox Head having to interfere. Garselid Kavanagh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Deiniol Loane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Maesteg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deiniol Loane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cardiff FC's Maddox Head proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Cardiff FC from getting a goal against them. Kynwal Gillman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cardiff FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Garselid Kavanagh scored to the left of an out of position Maddox Head, making the score, 2-2. Seith Attwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwern Conant having to interfere. After 92 played minutes UWA Maesteg got a freekick which was hit by Iustig Neatherder. Garselid Kavanagh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maddox Head having to interfere.
