Garwyli Dowthwaite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Kevyn Boucher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes FC Rhyl Youth got a freekick which was hit by Gleis Hick. After 15 minutes, Cain Graves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Rhyl Youth and the Porthcawl players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Rhyl Youth's Cain Graves got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Garwyli Dowthwaite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. Berwyn Lynn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rhys Howell went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Berwyn Lynn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rhys Howell in the 69th minute of the match. Kevyn Boucher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the game, Cain Graves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kevyn Boucher. Cain Graves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. If 狄克霖 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Porthcawl fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Rhyl Youth were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
