Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Goreu Boryla took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Llangollen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amerawdwr Cannon came free, but Bran Lamph reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 minutes of play, Llangollen FC's Robat Appleby made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Huw Bowles was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 9 in the game by Robat Appleby from a close distance when the talented Huw Bowles managed to make a qualified save. Pontarddulais Town FC's players were relieved. Bran Lamph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goreu Boryla in the 14th minute of the match. Robat Appleby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huw Bowles having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Llangollen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amerawdwr Cannon came free, but Bran Lamph reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Siencyn Lovelady fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Huw Bowles made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Robat Appleby sent off a good shot on target. Siencyn Lovelady sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Siencyn Lovelady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pontarddulais Town FC's goalkeeper Huw Bowles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Huw Bowles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siencyn Lovelady, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Robat Appleby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llangollen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robat Appleby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huw Bowles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th match minute, Pontarddulais Town FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sion Evans to maneuver through the defense. Robat Appleby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Huw Bowles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huw Bowles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siencyn Lovelady, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Pontarddulais Town FC's Huw Bowles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siencyn Lovelady in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siencyn Lovelady in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Huw Bowles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cas Hill kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Siencyn Lovelady sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Tomos Crawford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Goreu Boryla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Llangollen FC's Bran Lamph got control of the ball when Amerawdwr Cannon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Amerawdwr Cannon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pontarddulais Town FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amerawdwr Cannon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Llangollen FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
