Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Neath Utd's Nissyen Brock started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arglwydd Brown hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nissyen Brock in the 7th minute of play forced Pontarddulais Town FC's goalkeeper Huw Bowles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Goreu Boryla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the game, Neath Utd's Nissyen Brock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Huw Bowles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gowther Lea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goreu Boryla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amerawdwr Cannon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the game, Goreu Boryla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gowther Lea. Goreu Boryla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Huw Bowles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lot Blacksmith in the 24th minute of the match. If Goreu Boryla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Neath Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kilydd Halliday to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes of play, Pontarddulais Town FC's Amerawdwr Cannon made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gowther Lea was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pontarddulais Town FC's goalkeeper Huw Bowles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nissyen Brock in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Huw Bowles saved Pontarddulais Town FC from getting behind. Lot Blacksmith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huw Bowles having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Ector Billing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pontarddulais Town FC and the Neath Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Pontarddulais Town FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ector Billing to maneuver through the defense. Nissyen Brock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huw Bowles having to interfere. When Cas Hill fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pontarddulais Town FC's protests and gave Cas Hill a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Pontarddulais Town FC got a freekick which was hit by Cas Hill. 48 minutes into the game, Amerawdwr Emmett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neath Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pontarddulais Town FC the free kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Goreu Boryla made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerawdwr Cannon in the 53rd minute of play forced Neath Utd's goalkeeper Gowther Lea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pontarddulais Town FC's Amerawdwr Cannon in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Neath Utd's goalie prevented a goal. If Goreu Boryla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amerawdwr Cannon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Goreu Boryla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pontarddulais Town FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Goreu Boryla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gowther Lea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dirmyg Jones's late challenge caught a Neath Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dirmyg Jones helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pontarddulais Town FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Dirmyg Jones hit a great ball. Neath Utd's Gowther Lea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goreu Boryla in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Neath Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Goreu Boryla came free, but Gowther Lea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Amerawdwr Cannon notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Neath Utd's Gowther Lea. Gowther Lea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute, Neath Utd's Nissyen Brock ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Huw Bowles. Huw Bowles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Nissyen Brock's late challenge caught a Pontarddulais Town FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nissyen Brock helped the player get up and apologised. Goreu Boryla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pontarddulais Town FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Neath Utd for a fine match.
