With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mabon Dempsey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Siencyn Lovelady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bran Lamph showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calcas Leather, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Cowbridge Rovers's Melkin Doney got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes in the game, Calcas Leather dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 21 played minutes Llangollen FC got a freekick which was hit by Bwlch Arendell. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calcas Leather in the 25th minute of play forced Llangollen FC's goalkeeper Bran Lamph to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Calcas Leather got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Llangollen FC booed when Cowbridge Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moesen Kemble didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siencyn Lovelady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mabon Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robat Appleby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siencyn Lovelady to make the kick off. In the 59th minute Siencyn Lovelady shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mabon Dempsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moesen Brody during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mabon Dempsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robat Appleby struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Mabon Dempsey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llangollen FC. Robat Appleby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mabon Dempsey having to interfere. Bran Lamph showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calcas Leather, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 81st minute, Robat Appleby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cowbridge Rovers's Mabon Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casnar Duckett in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Llangollen FC's Robat Appleby nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mabon Dempsey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Siencyn Lovelady fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mabon Dempsey having to interfere. Llangollen FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
