In the 6th minute, Jeppe Follestad sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Maesteg FC's Gerallt Donoghue didn't even have to move. After having played for 12 minutes, Goreu Eccleston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sun By The Sea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goreu Eccleston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sun By The Sea's Tadeusz Nowak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calder Jacob in the 16th minute of play. Calder Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Nowak having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sun By The Sea's Caradoc Hunt got a free kick in the 20th minute. Gwitart Gold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Nowak having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Sun By The Sea's Odgar Deanly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerallt Donoghue made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 36th minute, Odgar Deanly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Sun By The Sea's Goreu Eccleston ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerallt Donoghue. Gerallt Donoghue yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Goreu Eccleston to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wren Dancy got free with Tadeusz Nowak in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the game, Calder Jacob recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tadeusz Nowak. Calder Jacob showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Cadwallen Keane's late challenge caught a Sun By The Sea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cadwallen Keane helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Maesteg FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Cadwallen Keane hit a great ball. Tadeusz Nowak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gwitart Gold in the 72nd minute. Goreu Eccleston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tristan Webster kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Goreu Eccleston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sun By The Sea's supporters rose to their feet, but Goreu Eccleston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerallt Donoghue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maesteg FC's Gerallt Donoghue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odgar Deanly in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the Maesteg FC defense, Goreu Eccleston kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerallt Donoghue. The Maesteg FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerallt Donoghue should have stopped the shot. Sun By The Sea's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
