Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teithi Ironside got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Cant Finkley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teithi Ironside could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Bleddyn Hooper made a huge save. A hard shot 5 in the game by Ren Essig from a close distance when the talented Bleddyn Hooper managed to make a qualified save. UWA Penarth's players were relieved. With his leg Bleddyn Hooper managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Neath's Teithi Ironside fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Sugyn Currier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teithi Ironside had several of the UWA Penarth's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Bleddyn Hooper as he didn't even see the shot coming. Digon Goldthorpe kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Bleddyn Hooper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teithi Ironside's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. A hard shot 22 in the game by Ren Essig from a close distance when the talented Bleddyn Hooper managed to make a qualified save. UWA Penarth's players were relieved. Teithi Ironside might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bleddyn Hooper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teithi Ironside ran back to his position shaking his head. Anwar Gaoler kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Cadwallen Hicks struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Idris Luce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Penarth. After 29 minutes, Gruffen Maltster mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neath and the UWA Penarth players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Neath got a freekick which was hit by Gruffen Maltster. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwallter Blake in the 36th minute of play forced Neath's goalkeeper Idris Luce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwallter Blake kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Teithi Ironside received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bleddyn Hooper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UWA Penarth's Bleddyn Hooper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save UWA Penarth from getting a goal against them. After 43 minutes, Sugyn Currier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neath and the UWA Penarth players grew even worse after the yellow card. Idris Luce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadwallen Hicks in the 45th minute of play. Gwallter Blake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Idris Luce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The wind increased when Cadwallen Hicks made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes UWA Penarth got a freekick which was hit by Anynnawg Jay. Neath's Siarl Laurence couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for UWA Penarth. After a rather tough play, UWA Penarth's Gildas Lewis got a free kick in the 55th minute. Bleddyn Hooper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ren Essig's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Ren Essig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bleddyn Hooper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teithi Ironside received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bleddyn Hooper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teithi Ironside fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bleddyn Hooper having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Ren Essig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bleddyn Hooper. UWA Penarth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ren Essig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ren Essig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neath's supporters rose to their feet, but Ren Essig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bleddyn Hooper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Teithi Ironside made a precise shot to the right of Bleddyn Hooper. UWA Penarth's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Ren Essig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bleddyn Hooper having to interfere. If Ren Essig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bleddyn Hooper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ren Essig in the 89th minute of play. Bleddyn Hooper came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Neath's Teithi Ironside. But to his dismay, Teithi Ironside quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Idris Luce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadwallen Hicks in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Neath players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
