Ithel Finan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 8 played minutes Neath got a freekick which was hit by Ren Essig. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Teithi Ironside managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neath's supporters rose to their feet, but Teithi Ironside was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ithel Finan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Granwen Freeh charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Granwen Freeh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Granwen Freeh kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Ren Essig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Neath booed when El Chueco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cadfael Emerson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Cadfael Emerson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Idris Luce. Neath's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cadfael Emerson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teithi Ironside in the 30th minute of play forced El Chueco's goalkeeper Ithel Finan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ithel Finan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ren Essig in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bran Kay in the 39th minute of play forced Neath's goalkeeper Idris Luce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes, Teithi Ironside mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neath and the El Chueco players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Neath got a freekick which was hit by Teithi Ironside.

El Chueco's Ithel Finan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save El Chueco from getting a goal against them. Teithi Ironside was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, El Chueco's Ithel Finan got control of the ball when Teithi Ironside tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th play minute Teithi Ironside came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ithel Finan. 1-2. A collision led to El Chueco getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gwyn Eaton hit a great ball. Teithi Ironside sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 65 in the game by Teithi Ironside from a close distance when the talented Ithel Finan managed to make a qualified save. El Chueco's players were relieved. In the 66th minute Rhyd Livingstone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Idris Luce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwyn Eaton took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Idris Luce. Idris Luce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Bran Kay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Idris Luce having to interfere. Idris Luce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bran Kay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ren Essig who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Ithel Finan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teithi Ironside could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ithel Finan made a huge save. Ithel Finan made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Teithi Ironside sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Ithel Finan managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Neath's Ren Essig fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Teithi Ironside could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ithel Finan made a huge save. Anwar Gaoler kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Mabon Keyes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, El Chueco's Ithel Finan got control of the ball when Teithi Ironside tried to sneak it across the goal line.
