Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jestin Gamble started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Gavin Flannelly dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andras Arnold, 1-0. Carnedyr Andrews's late challenge caught a Penarth FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carnedyr Andrews helped the player get up and apologised. Andras Arnold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ysgawyn Loody, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jestin Gamble scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dywel Lennox, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gavin Flannelly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swansea City's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavin Flannelly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andras Arnold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Swansea City getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Iddawg Findley hit a great ball. Dywel Lennox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxen Death, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Jestin Gamble had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dywel Lennox. Swansea City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jestin Gamble was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedr Lister in the 47th minute of play forced Swansea City's goalkeeper Dywel Lennox to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gavin Flannelly made the kick off in the second half. When Jestin Gamble came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Penarth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jestin Gamble couldn't finish the play. Swansea City's Dywel Lennox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Swansea City from getting a goal against them. Ysgawyn Loody sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Penarth FC defense, Gavin Flannelly kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andras Arnold. The Penarth FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andras Arnold should have stopped the shot. Ysgawyn Loody sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dywel Lennox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedr Lister in the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Ysgawyn Loody managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swansea City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ysgawyn Loody was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavin Flannelly in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andras Arnold prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dywel Lennox made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maxen Death in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedr Lister during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedr Lister kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Swansea City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Penarth FC for a fine match.
