The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Kane Fitzroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beli Gerdes kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Rhodri Hitchcock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porthcawl FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denbigh the free kick. When Tor Edgell fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porthcawl FC's protests and gave Tor Edgell a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Porthcawl FC got a freekick which was hit by Tor Edgell. Tarrant Crisp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Merlin Graves kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Porthcawl FC's Wadu Fowler tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eryi Dempsey in the 39th minute of play forced Denbigh's goalkeeper Urien Faber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naw Haughion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Tarrant Crisp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urien Faber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eryi Dempsey in the 57th minute of play. Beli Gerdes kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Kane Fitzroy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cadwaladr Keller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Tarrant Crisp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Denbigh getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Celyn Eccleston hit a great ball. Cadwaladr Keller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kane Fitzroy in the 69th minute of play. Maddox Joseph charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maddox Joseph the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Porthcawl FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Denbigh:s goal. If Eryi Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urien Faber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eryi Dempsey in the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Porthcawl FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cerwyn Lamph was slow to take the kick. During this time Denbigh's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Porthcawl FC's goalie and right to Merlin Graves. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Porthcawl FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 86th minute Eryi Dempsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urien Faber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eryi Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Merlin Graves's late challenge caught a Porthcawl FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merlin Graves helped the player get up and apologised. After 97 played minutes Denbigh got a freekick which was hit by Merlin Graves.
