Andras Halley started the match with the kick off. Andras Halley struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Cadwgawn Gover didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caerleon. Baudwin Fickett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwyd Harrington having to interfere. Reese Douglas struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Llwyd Harrington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morhedral FC. Myrddin Cordwainer in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cadwgawn Gover, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cadwgawn Gover stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andras Halley's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Reese Douglas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwyd Harrington having to interfere. Myrddin Cordwainer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ifor Bowie during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 38 minutes, Andras Halley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caerleon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andras Halley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Myrddin Cordwainer struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Cadwgawn Gover didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caerleon. 46 minutes into the match, Morhedral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andras Halley came free, but Cadwgawn Gover reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Reese Douglas came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Morhedral FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reese Douglas couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baudwin Fickett in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Llwyd Harrington prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Malvern Death kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Baudwin Fickett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwyd Harrington having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Morhedral FC's Myrddin Hastings got a free kick in the 81st minute. It was beautiful to see Caerleon's Maddock Bartholomew in action when he in the 83rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Cadwgawn Gover took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myrddin Cordwainer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reese Douglas in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Llwyd Harrington, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 93rdth minute of the game Myrddin Cordwainer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morhedral FC's Cadwgawn Gover was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Llwyd Harrington managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Morhedral FC's Reese Douglas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Caerleon succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Morhedral FC had controlled the match.
