Llwyd Harrington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tremayne Finch, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 3rd minute, Dillan Cartledge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tremayne Finch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gökcan Reşat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andras Halley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Myrddin Cordwainer notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cefn Draig's Gökcan Reşat. Gökcan Reşat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cant Bates in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Llwyd Harrington prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gökcan Reşat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andras Halley in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verner Ahlén in the 24th minute of play forced Caerleon's goalkeeper Llwyd Harrington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tremayne Finch's late challenge caught a Caerleon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tremayne Finch helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cefn Draig's Tremayne Finch got a free kick in the 31st minute. Duach Haydon hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Cant Bates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwyd Harrington having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cant Bates stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Júlio Fragoso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Llwyd Harrington skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Myrddin Cordwainer put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gökcan Reşat. Duach Haydon charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duach Haydon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Cefn Draig got a freekick which was hit by Duach Haydon. After a defensive mix-up in Cefn Draig's zone, Andras Halley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gökcan Reşat came out of the goal and Andras Halley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Myrddin Cordwainer came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Caerleon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Myrddin Cordwainer couldn't finish the play. Tremayne Finch kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Llwyd Harrington acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Duach Haydon. Gökcan Reşat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinadan Biggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Caerleon's Llwyd Harrington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tremayne Finch in the 75th minute of play. Tremayne Finch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cant Bates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gökcan Reşat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinadan Biggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Myrddin Cordwainer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes Caerleon got a freekick which was hit by Lloyd Bethel. Cefn Draig's Júlio Fragoso got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cant Bates's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Llwyd Harrington skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 95 played minutes Cefn Draig got a freekick which was hit by Tremayne Finch. Caerleon's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
