Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) manchester united's Gorsedd Hoole started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in manchester united's zone, Pawl Brien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evan Donoghue came out of the goal and Pawl Brien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Teryrnon Hurlburt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Weyland Barnett was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. The supporters of manchester united booed when Towyn United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siawn Carmack didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes, Towyn United's Culhwch Cockwell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evan Donoghue came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Towyn United reached it. Towyn United's Weyland Barnett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gorsedd Hoole in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Towyn United's Prys Gilfoyle got a free kick in the 29th minute. Weyland Barnett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gorsedd Hoole in the 31st minute of play. Pawl Brien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evan Donoghue having to interfere. A collision led to manchester united getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sayer Boyle hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes Towyn United got a freekick which was hit by Siawn Carmack. Siawn Carmack's late challenge caught a manchester united's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siawn Carmack helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th match minute, Towyn United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siawn Carmack to maneuver through the defense. Pawl Brien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gwallter Kilboy during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, manchester united's Gwallter Kilboy got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Siawn Carmack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pawl Brien to strike the kick off in the second half. Evan Donoghue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawl Brien in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, manchester united's goal looked a bit too open when Pawl Brien came free, but Evan Donoghue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gorsedd Hoole blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Weyland Barnett having to make a save. If Teryrnon Hurlburt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Pawl Brien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evan Donoghue was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Siawn Carmack's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evan Donoghue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. When Prys Gilfoyle came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Towyn United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prys Gilfoyle couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pawl Brien in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evan Donoghue prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Towyn United's Weyland Barnett got control of the ball when Garnock Hancock tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evan Donoghue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawl Brien in the 82nd minute of the match. Siawn Carmack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evan Donoghue having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Pawl Brien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evan Donoghue was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawl Brien in the 89th minute of play forced manchester united's goalkeeper Evan Donoghue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siawn Carmack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evan Donoghue having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pawl Brien in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evan Donoghue saved manchester united from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Towyn United lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
