Erbin Adams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Pyrs Leech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arawn Flesher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pawl Drummond charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pawl Drummond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, UWA Llanberis's Pawl Drummond got a free kick in the 7th minute. Yale Lavelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adwr Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th match minute, UWA Llanberis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dillan Howker to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Adwr Hill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Calcas Carter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Ely's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calcas Carter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yale Lavelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adwr Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Adwr Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Ely's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adwr Hill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Calcas Carter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mabon Letson kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Calcas Carters short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Yale Lavelle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adwr Hill struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Yale Lavelle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Ely. Trefor Waiter kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Calcas Carter's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Yale Lavelle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Yale Lavelle made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Calcas Carter sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the UWA Ely defense, Arawn Flesher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pyrs Leech. The UWA Ely fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pyrs Leech should have stopped the shot. Calcas Carter scored 1-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yale Lavelle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adwr Hill to strike the kick off in the second half. Erbin Adams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pyrs Leech having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Pawl Drummond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yale Lavelle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calcas Carter in the 65th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Calcas Carter notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of UWA Llanberis's Yale Lavelle. Yale Lavelle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Erbin Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Erbin Adams managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
