Cant Cockwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Carroll in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Arianwyn Lavars was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Penarth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prestatyn the free kick. 12 minutes into the match, Prestatyn's Wren Long broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Naw Henson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, UWA Penarth's Gwres Drummond got control of the ball when Naw Henson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Naw Henson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prestatyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gwres Drummond made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Naw Henson sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the match, UWA Penarth's goal looked a bit too open when Drew French came free, but Gwres Drummond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naw Henson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cant Cockwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Carroll in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Prestatyn's Timotheus Blacksmith got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 36th match minute, UWA Penarth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trent Carroll to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute of the match, Aberthol Fitzgerald got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gwres Drummond was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 47th minute Drew French shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwres Drummond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, UWA Penarth's Ardwyad Biggs got a free kick in the 48th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Drew French made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Penarth's zone, Naw Henson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwres Drummond came out of the goal and Naw Henson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Prestatyn's Naw Henson got a free kick in the 57th minute. Prestatyn's Cant Cockwell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Prestatyn from getting a goal against them. When Trent Carroll came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the UWA Penarth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trent Carroll couldn't finish the play. After having played for 70 minutes, Drew French managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prestatyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Drew French was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Penarth's zone, Aberthol Fitzgerald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwres Drummond came out of the goal and Aberthol Fitzgerald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Naw Henson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gwres Drummond was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 3-1 became the score in the 85th minute when Drew French elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Prestatyn's goal looked a bit too open when Trent Carroll came free, but Cant Cockwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prestatyn's Cant Cockwell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Prestatyn from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drew French in the 94th minute of play forced UWA Penarth's goalkeeper Gwres Drummond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match, Ardwyad Biggs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cant Cockwell was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Prestatyn's Cant Cockwell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Prestatyn from getting a goal against them. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Prestatyn had played much better football throughout.
