Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Amhar Kilpatrick started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The Denbigh fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Denbigh's Ifor Wainwright looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Llyn Keating charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Llyn Keating the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 7 minutes into the game, one of Llangollen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ifor Wainwright shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Trefor John came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Denbigh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trefor John couldn't finish the play. Trefor John who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Timotheus Ambrose when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Timotheus Ambrose didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. After 18 minutes, Nissyen Dugan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Llangollen and the Denbigh players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Nissyen Dugan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denbigh's Hydd Dancer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amhar Kilpatrick in the 22nd minute of play. Timotheus Ambrose didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ifor Wainwright went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Hydd Dancer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Penn Dempsey in the 29th minute of play. Denbigh's Hydd Dancer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iona Clayton in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Llangollen's goalkeeper Timotheus Ambrose had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trefor John. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ifor Wainwright in the 36th minute of play forced Llangollen's goalkeeper Timotheus Ambrose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trefor John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timotheus Ambrose having to interfere. If Iona Clayton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trefor John recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 played minutes Ifor Wainwright rounded Llangollen's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Ifor Wainwright made the kick off in the second half. Cadeyrn Ammons kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Hydd Dancer made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Nissyen Dugan sent off a good shot on target. Trefor John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timotheus Ambrose having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Iona Clayton made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Denbigh's Hydd Dancer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 63 played minutes Denbigh got a freekick which was hit by Ifor Wainwright. Hydd Dancer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nissyen Dugan in the 75th minute. Trefor John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timotheus Ambrose having to interfere. The supporters of Llangollen booed when Denbigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Addolgar Howker didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Denbigh's Hydd Dancer got control of the ball when Nissyen Dugan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Denbigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sel Frisby to maneuver through the defense. Llwyd Frost struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hydd Dancer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llangollen. In the 95th minute, Ifor Wainwright made a precise shot to the right of Timotheus Ambrose. Llangollen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Denbigh walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
