Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ifor Wainwright made the kick off which started today's match. When Ren Elias fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skewen's protests and gave Ren Elias a yellow card for diving instead. Ren Elias hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 8 played minutes Skewen got a freekick which was hit by Maddock Heany. After 10 minutes of play Skewen's Ren Elias was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 11th minute, Ren Elias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garselid Carver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ifor Wainwright in the 16th minute of the match. Ifor Wainwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Skewen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waljan Eckles to maneuver through the defense. When Sel Frisby fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denbigh's protests and gave Sel Frisby a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Skewen booed when Denbigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sel Frisby didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Denbigh's goalkeeper Hydd Dancer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waljan Eckles. Trefor John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garselid Carver having to interfere. Trefor John received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Garselid Carver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trefor John took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garselid Carver. Garselid Carver dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Skewen booed when Denbigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garwyli Higgler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute Ifor Wainwright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garselid Carver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waljan Eckles was the one to do the kick off. Trefor John might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Garselid Carver. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trefor John ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, Skewen's goalkeeper Garselid Carver had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trefor John. If Trefor John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trefor John was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Denbigh's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Ifor Wainwright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Skewen's Garselid Carver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ifor Wainwright in the 89th minute of play. Trefor John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garselid Carver having to interfere. Denbigh's Ifor Wainwright got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rdth minute of the game Ifor Wainwright who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skewen's Garselid Carver was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ifor Wainwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garselid Carver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trefor John in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Denbigh left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Skewen.
