After a defensive mix-up in Rhonnda FC's zone, Cas Graham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amren Ingoldsby came out of the goal and Cas Graham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amren Ingoldsby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Awstin Chambers in the 9th minute of the match. Nerthach Hubert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iona Kevin charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iona Kevin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iona Kevin hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Nerthach Hubert notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Llangollen FC's Caerwyn Griffith. Caerwyn Griffith was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Awstin Chambers in the 22nd minute of play forced Rhonnda FC's goalkeeper Amren Ingoldsby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Llangollen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iona Kevin to maneuver through the defense. Nerthach Hubert might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caerwyn Griffith. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nerthach Hubert ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute Jestin Farrar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caerwyn Griffith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nerthach Hubert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caerwyn Griffith having to interfere. Clud Luke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Amren Ingoldsby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wren Breslin's late challenge caught a Llangollen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wren Breslin helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rhonnda FC! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clud Luke made a kick off. Clud Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amren Ingoldsby having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Llangollen FC's goalkeeper Caerwyn Griffith had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nerthach Hubert. In the 71st match minute, Llangollen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mael Feltner to maneuver through the defense. If Jestin Farrar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Llangollen FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mael Feltner hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Rhonnda FC's Nerthach Hubert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caerwyn Griffith made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Dewey Biddwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Idris Flynn hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clud Luke in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amren Ingoldsby saved Rhonnda FC from getting behind. Jestin Farrar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caerwyn Griffith having to interfere. Clud Luke struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Amren Ingoldsby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llangollen FC. If Nerthach Hubert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jestin Farrar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Caerwyn Griffith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rhonnda FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
