In the 5th minute, Galahad Hastings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aeddan Boren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maddox Creedan having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Anyon Farr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montgomery fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bran Hutton during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Montgomery getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bran Hutton hit a great ball. Granwen Fischers short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Braen Elkins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Rhyl's zone, Taffy Farran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maddox Creedan came out of the goal and Taffy Farran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Montgomery getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Edern Bowden hit a great ball. Fercos Leaper hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Llwyd Lindley's late challenge caught a Montgomery's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Llwyd Lindley helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Llwyd Lindley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Montgomery's goalkeeper Braen Elkins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Granwen Fischer. The supporters of Rhyl booed when Montgomery was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bran Hutton didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Granwen Fischer got free with Braen Elkins in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Granwen Fischer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Braen Elkins. That made the score 1-1 in the 46 minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Maddox Creedan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taffy Farran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ol Clements's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braen Elkins was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Montgomery defense, Ol Clements kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Braen Elkins. The Montgomery fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braen Elkins should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Trefor Cantwell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braen Elkins was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 68 minutes, Galahad Hastings mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rhyl and the Montgomery players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rhyl getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Galahad Hastings hit a great ball. Maddox Creedan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anyon Farr in the 69th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Granwen Fischer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braen Elkins was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 80th match minute, Rhyl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Galahad Hastings to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes, Montgomery's Taffy Farran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maddox Creedan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montgomery reached it. In the 86th minute, Iddawg Felton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maddox Creedan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anyon Farr showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 89 minute of play. Montgomery's Braen Elkins tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aeddan Boren charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aeddan Boren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Montgomery getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Aeddan Boren hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rhyl had won after a very even match.
