After a defensive mix-up in Pershore's zone, Habib Ali Hermassi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jemeleddine M'ghirbi came out of the goal and Habib Ali Hermassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Said Mnari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, Hatem BenAmor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pershore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cressage the free kick. After 13 played minutes Pershore got a freekick which was hit by Hatem BenAmor. Said Mnari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jemeleddine M'ghirbi having to interfere. Aziz Melliti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riadh Ladgham having to interfere. In the 21st play minute Said Mnari came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jemeleddine M'ghirbi. 1-0. If Said Mnari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Said Mnari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jemeleddine M'ghirbi having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Said Mnari got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 31st minute Wissem Arfa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Riadh Ladgham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Pershore's Wissem Arfa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Riadh Ladgham made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Cressage players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pershore were winning 1-2.

59 minutes into the match, Cressage's Habib Ali Hermassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jemeleddine M'ghirbi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wissem Arfa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riadh Ladgham having to interfere. With a little luck, Cressage's Riadh Ladgham got control of the ball when Wissem Arfa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Cressage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fathi Khaled to maneuver through the defense. Aziz Melliti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Habib Ali Hermassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jemeleddine M'ghirbi having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Aziz Melliti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Riadh Ladgham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Habib Ali Hermassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jemeleddine M'ghirbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wissem Arfa might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Riadh Ladgham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wissem Arfa ran back to his position shaking his head. Jemeleddine M'ghirbi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habib Ali Hermassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pershore walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
